Yes, there are talks in progress of a very special dance number performed by none other than the lead heroine of the film, Deepika Padukone. This is quite a departure from the usual trend of bringing in another specialized/top actress for the purpose. And why not, when they have the most promising and happening newcomer whose last item number, ''Love Mera Hit Hit'', in BILLU proved to be chartbusting success, unlike the movie. Definitely, it will be a double bonanza for the audience to see Deepika as the lead actress, performing a sizzling, hot-shot (item) number, as she has proved many a times that she is a wonderful dancer.

However, we are curious to know why the in-house top actress, Kareena Kapoor (Saif's girlfriend and Imtiaz's JAB WE MET lucky mascot), who excels in such dance numbers has not been asked to add the novelty value!

Deepika Farhan in 'Kartik calling Kartik'

For the first time, the Rock On fame, director and actor Farhan Akhtar and Om Shanti Om glam doll Deepika Padukone will act together. They are coming together for lighthearted thriller ‘Kartik Calling Kartik’. Farhan who has win the hearts of all with his performance in ‘Rock On’ will try his hand at comedy. "Not that 'Kartik...' is a full-fledged comedy. It's a thriller. But it has a lot of light funny moments, something that I missed out in my first two, actually three (the unreleased ' The Fakir Of Venice ')”, quips Farhan.

After Om Shanti Om, Deepika hardly had any box office hit but the actress is still in demand and makers do not feel risk to cast her. Apart from the two lead actors, the film also stars Shefali Shah and Boman Irani. The shooting will commence from April. Farhan who played a singer in his debut film is a music lover in real sense and hopeful to cut a music album in the near future.

"But for that I need to take out a chunk of time and devote my full attention to it. Singing is not just a hobby. It never was. I need to pursue it seriously. And not only because of ‘Rock On! '. I can't just have someone else composing the songs while I go in the studio and record," said the director cum actor cum singer.

Deepika Ranbir Love story cracked due to Sonam Kapoor

Is there trouble in paradise for Ranbir Kapoor and his lady love, Deepika Padukone? Well rumors are flying about how Deepika Padukone is apparently mad at her beau, Ranbir Kapoor. So what is making the lovely actress so angry at her boyfriend?

Well the answer is Sonam Kapoor. No, it's not that Sonam and Ranbir who were romantically linked while working on the film, 'Sawariya' are getting back together. It's just that Ranbir Kapoor thinks that Sonam Kapoor is a great looking girl.

Most would agree with Ranbir's thoughts on Sonam as she has been seen on almost every magazine cover and ramp shows as the showstopper. However, it seems that Deepika was not too happy with his feelings about Sonam Kapoor.

Ranbir Kapoor apparently told Deepika that she should hire Sonam Kapoor's stylist immediately and also requested Sonam for the same. But sources say this didn't go down to well with Deepika Padukone, who was furious and asked Sonam Kapoor's stylist to leave her house immediately when the poor stylist went to give her styling tips.

Well it seems like the incident didn't have a huge impact on their relationship as Deepika and Ranbir are spotted together at industry events and hotspots around Mumbai. The two looked like the perfect pair as they arrived at the Filmfare awards together. They seemed very happy at the event but Ranbir Kapoor was seen hanging out with Sonam Kapoor backstage. Wonder how Deepika Padukone felt about that?? Well hopefully Deepika will forget and poor Sonam won't be dragged between Ranbir and Deepika!

Lover birds Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have ended up having their first major fight since the time, Ranbir proposed Deepika during the Filmfare Awards Nite, earlier this year. The reason for this fight has been Katrina Kaif. Sources inform, “Deepika had heard from her sources about Ranbir’s growing comfortability on and off the sets of Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani during the two month long shooting schedule in Ooty. While Deepika never confronted Ranbir over it, she got very insecure when her sources from the sets of the same film reported fresh news about what was happening between the two in the Goa schedule.

It is learnt that during the Goa shoot both Ranbir and Katrina appeared more than comfortable (Vijainder-read physical) with each other than before even in front of the unit members on the sets. Deepika headed to Goa straightaway after hearing from her source. During her one day trip she met her source and headed back to Mumbai after hearing it all in person. When Ranbir came to know about it, he called Deepika and they both had a huge argument over the phone which ended up in Deepika hanging up on him. Since that day, Deepika has been avoiding picking up Ranbir’s calls.”

No we gotta see how Salman Khan reacts to this one! Ranbir calls Salman, Sir on and off the sets since the time they did Saawariya together. Katrina had earlier expressed to us her views on Ranbir as, “A very witty co-star and fun to be with on sets.”
