Mahesh Babu's next flick, Varudu, will start regular shooting schedule from July 16th. The lithe Deepika Padukone, who was the fresh face in the Shahrukh Khan starrer Om Shanti Om, has been approached to star opposite Mahesh Babu.
Varudu is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas and Singanamala Ramesh is producing it under Kanakaratna Movies banner.
Deepika Padukone, brand ambassador for big names like Kingfisher Airlines and Swiss watchmaker Tissot, has also acted in Aishwariya, a Kannada film.
