Bumps off Katrina from the sequel to 'Welcome'
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have made a hit on-screen pair, much to the dismay of beau Salman Khan.
It worked out perfectly for them in last year‘s hit ‘Welcome‘.
The movie almost tripled Nana Patekar‘s rather mediocre salary and actually put Anil Kapoor right back on the map.
Obviously, the makers want to cash in on the success and make a sequel to it. Considering the kind of movies Aneez Bazmee makes, it hardly matters whether it‘s a sequel or not. It‘s still nonsense personified!
The sequel is being planned but the news is Katrina Kaif‘s not keen to be the part of it because she has a few prior commitments and will not be able to manage the dates.
This dame seems to be riding high on her success and doesn‘t look like she‘s coming back to mother earth any time soon. Probably a few slaps from someone special could do the trick!
With angry Sallu around, one doesn‘t need to look far!
If The Bitch‘s sources are to be believed, the role may fall in Deepika Padukone‘s lap. Now Deepika is hot property after her over hyped debut movie ‘Om Shanti Om‘. And the smart lass is making the most of it. The Bitch thinks her beau Ranbir could also do with similar luck though.
The Bitch‘s source says, "Katrina has no dates, so she‘ll not be able to feature in the sequel of the movie. Hence Deepika Padukone is been considered for the role. She is hot after ‘Om Shanti Om‘ and became more famous after her string of affairs. Things are still in the initial process and an announcement will be come from the producers very soon."
When contacted Firoz Nandiadwala neither confirmed nor denied the news. He said, "It‘s too early to talk about it, please."
Said like the overconfident and full of himself producer that he is!
Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone will also be seen together in the upcoming Nikhil Advani flick, ‘Chandni Chowk to China‘.
The Bitch wonders if there is a jealous beau and a worried wife, somewhere around the corner!
